In Short
- The Heavenly Pickaxe, also called the Angelite Pickaxe, is a high-luck, late-game tool hidden inside the Iceberg Island maze in The Forge.
- It costs $2.4 million gold and offers strong mining stats with +85% luck and four rune slots.
- While it has slightly lower mine power than the Dragon Head Pickaxe, it excels at farming rare ores and high-value drops.
There are plenty of pickaxes that you can use to mine ores in The Forge, but to quickly farm high HP rocks, you need better ones. The Heavenly Pickaxe, also known as Angelite Pickaxe in The Forge, is a top-tier pickaxe that players are eager to find. Unfortunately, it is locked behind a room located deep inside a maze. In this guide, we have mentioned how you can obtain the Heavenly Pickaxe in The Forge and whether its worth buying or not.
How to Obtain Heavenly Pickaxe in The Forge
The Heavenly Pickaxe can be found for $2.4 million gold inside the Iceberg Island hidden maze angel room in The Forge. Once you complete the maze in The Forge, the final room appears. You can talk to one of the angels and take the Angelic Quests. These quests are all about completing certain tasks that require killing enemies or farming ores.
Upon completion, walk behind the NPCs and enter the golden portal. It will disappear after the quest is done. Go near the Heavenly Pickaxe and press the E key to purchase by spending $2.4 million in gold in The Forge.

To get to the maze, you first need to unlock the Frostspire Expanse by using the Portal Tool and reaching level 70. Once done, mine Coinite from Medium Red Crystal, Large Red Crystal, or Heart of the Island Stone inside the Raven Caves. Once you have one, head to the pier at the edge of the island, speak to the ship captain, and choose the “I want to cross to the other side” option to reach Iceberg Island at the cost of one Coinite.

After arriving on Island 4, walk toward the large hole and jump down to enter the maze. Note that you cannot swim to the island; the water will drain your HP instantly, so taking the ferry is mandatory.
Maze Navigation and Quests
Once inside the maze, navigation can be tricky. A common strategy mentioned by players is to keep going left initially. If you find yourself going in circles, try switching to the right. Use the Shop inside the maze as a key landmark to orient yourself.
The Angelic Quests
To unlock the Heavenly Pickaxe room, you must complete a series of quests given by the Angel NPC at the end of the maze:
- Defeat Skeletons and Cthulhu: You will be tasked with defeating specific enemies.
- Cthulhu Locations: Cthulhu is a rare spawn. Common spots include:
- Near the internal Shop (go forward or backward from it).
- At the very beginning of the maze (take the path back from the Shop).
- In specific dead-end rooms along the linear paths.
- Strategy: You can "camp" these spots and wait for respawns, or rotate between them.
- Cthulhu Locations: Cthulhu is a rare spawn. Common spots include:
- Repeatable Quests: Be prepared for multiple rounds of quests (e.g., defeating 50 Skeletons and 50 Cthulhus) before the final room unlocks.
Bonus Codes
The update also introduced new codes that can help you with potions and rerolls:

The Forge Heavenly Pickaxe Stats
The Angelite Pickaxe in The Forge can be purchased for a massive amount of $2,400,000. This is currently cheaper than the Dragon Head Pickaxe. However, there is also a compromise in its stats. So, here are the full Heavenly Pickaxe stats in The Forge:
| Heavenly Pickaxe | Details |
|---|---|
| Appearance | ![]() |
| Mine Power | 725 |
| Luck Boost | +85% |
| Rune Slots | 4 |
Overall, Heavenly comes with better luck and a slightly lower mine power than the Dragon Head Pickaxe. However, it still has the option to slot in 4 runes in The Forge.
Should You Buy the Heavenly Pickaxe in The Forge?
Yes, the Heavenly Pickaxe is worth buying if your goal is farming rare ores in The Forge. Its +85% Luck boost and four rune slots make it an excellent choice. However, the Angelite Pickaxe in The Forge has slightly lower Mine Power than the Dragon Head Pickaxe.
That said, if your priority is raw mining speed and breaking the toughest rocks as fast as possible, the Dragon Head Pickaxe still has the edge. The Heavenly Pickaxe shines as a balanced, late-game option for players who want better luck, flexible ore traits builds, and strong overall performance without paying more gold.
